During last nights Grammy Awards show, acclaimed producer Pharrell Williams who is known for his bold fashion choices, decided to wear a hat that has everyone talking. With its huge appearance and odd shape, its no wonder that it was only a matter of time before Arby’s noticed the similarity between his hat and their logo.
Just like Oreo, Arby’s quickly released an ad on Twitter which pointed out the similarities in a light and humorous manner. For Arby’s it was the perfect opportunity to promote their brand basically for free, as it was related to both a high profile figure and TV event.
Hopefully, more opportunities like these will present themselves, so we can see more quick and creative ads on social sites.
